Sound Wealth Management started out of a desire to make a better, more seamless financial planning experience. Greg launched Sound Wealth Management as a boutique, fee-only fiduciary firm anchored in uncompromising client service and attention to goal-driven details. Inspired by a passion for entrepreneurship, Greg’s desire was to stand out from the industry giants. He refuses to be marked as just another financial advisor and continues to focus his company on people, not profits.

A fiduciary is a person or organization that acts on behalf of another person or persons, putting their clients' interests ahead of their own, with a duty to preserve good faith and trust. Being a fiduciary thus requires being bound both legally and ethically to act in the client's best interest.
Meet Greg Goff
Why:
Greg had drawn and laminated his business card at age seven. He wanted to be a part of the family business. Through this involvement, he learned that successful professionals face unique financial challenges.
He later learned the value of comprehensive financial planning while working as a Financial Advisor and Portfolio Manager at a Fortune 500 firm, but the service model and fee structure were broken. Realizing the opportunity to build a firm that fit the needs of his clients, Greg founded Sound Wealth Management.

Personal: Greg enjoys spending time with his wife, Kinsley, their daughter, Betty, and their two rescue pups, Marlow and Cooper. They enjoy exploring all that Greenville, SC has to offer and visiting family in Hilton Head and Charlotte. On any given weekend, he can be found working on home improvements, teeing off on the golf course, or cheering on the Clemson Tigers and the Carolina Panthers.
